The Terminal is located to the South of Hyderabad, Telangana State, India on the Bangalore Exit on NH 44 in Thimmapur.

It is the first notified PFT on the Indian Railway in 2011. The Terminal has Three (03) Full length Railway Sidings and is one of the biggest Multi Product PFTs in India. The Terminal handles different products viz., EXIM Containers ; Domestic Containers ; Steel ; Bagged Commodities (Rice, Wheat, Fertilisers, Salt, Soda etc). The terminal handles close to 70 Trains per Month.
